Udupi: Former MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake felicitated for building bridge during his tenure

Udupi, Sep 10: Villagers of Jarukudru islands of Pithrody village felicitated Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MLA Kaup constituency for providing them with a bridge facility to connect to the mainland of Pithrody.

It was a long term dream of the people of Jarukudru to have a proper bridge for commuting purposes. Earlier, people used to rely upon boats for commuting.

It was during the term of Vinay Kumar Sorake as MLA of Kaup in 2017, he had laid the foundation stone for the bridge construction to connect Jarkudru and Pithrody. In remembrance of his work, people of Jarkudru on September 9, honoured and felicitated Vinay Kumar Sorake as a token of gratitude.
