Udupi: Burglars break into house, steal valuables worth Rs 64,000

Udupi, Sep 10: Valuables worth Rs 64,000 were stolen from a house here. 

As per the complaint registerd by Vaishnavi Madi a resident of LLR Road Kunjibettu here, some thieves entered their home between September 9 night to September 10 morning while the whole family had gone for a vacation to Nepal.

A 500 gram silver deity peetha, 50 gram silver plate, 150 gram silver Bowl, 20 gram silver bowl, 25 gram silver Ganesha peetha, a CCTV DVR, and a wifi router were stolen from the house. The total value of the stolen property is Rs 64,000.

A case has been filed in Udupi city police station.
