Kundapur: Vehicle jatha held to spread message, teachings of Narayana Guru

Kundapur, Sep 11: President of Billava Samaja Seva Sangha of Kundapura taluk Ashok Poojary said Brahmashri Narayana Guru is truly a world religious leader for his humanitarian message.

He was speaking at a function held here to celebrate the 168th birth anniversary of Brahmashri Narayana Guru. A Guru Vandana programme and a vehicle jatha was held in the taluk to mark the occasion.



































He said Narayana Guru's message and teachings are seen as a guiding light to society adding that everyone should celebrate Guruji's Jayanthi and follow his teachings.

Industrialist Satish Kotiyan, minister Kota Srinivas Poojary and former MLA of Byndoor K Gopal Poojary flagged off the vehicle jatha.

The jatha started from Narayana Guru Sabha Bhavan in Kundapura and ended on the NH-66 at Hemmady.
