Udupi: No compensation for agriculturists even after two years – Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS/HB)

Udupi, Sep 13: Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake responded to the Janotsava celebration of BJP and said, “During coronavirus pandemic Karkala BJP held celebrations. Supreme court has ordered to provide compensation to the victims. But so far it has not reached them.

“MLA of the region which was badly affected by flood two years ago is dancing on the dais in the name of Janotsava. One can make out how much concern BJP has on people.

“BJP is trying to fool people by just making provocative speeches. I have never seen a CM who speaks so cheaply. People are completely aware of the misrule of BJP. They are not fools. They understand everything.”

Reacting on the subject of Bharath Jodo of Rahul Gandhi, Sorake said, “For the first time in the history of the country such a long foot march is being held. The ruling party is trying to divide the country on the basis of caste and religion. But Congress party is uniting everyone like a family. Our constitution and democracy also says the same thing.

“Our country has people belonging to various religions, castes and creeds. Rahul Gandhi is trying to unite them under our constitution. Ruling party is dividing people but Congress is uniting them. Rahul Gandhi is taking footmarch from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. In Karnataka he will tour for more than 21 days. In Karnataka also we will see that Bharath Jodo programme is a grand success with the active cooperation of various organizations.”
