Puttur: St Philomena PU College holds office bearers installation ceremony

Puttur, Nov 21: Installation ceremony of new office bearers of Interact Club at St Philomena PU College was held on November 18 at Audio Visual Room.

The president, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal, St Philomena PU College, Puttur said,"Service to man is service to God. So, we must constantly engage ourselves in service to others. Every one should serve the society and make it a better place to live".

The chief guest, Rtn Surender Kini, past asst governor, zone 4, RID 3181 said, "An Interact club is for the youth aged 12-18 who are interested in community service. The organization exists primarily to affect change not only locally but internationally as well".

The guest of honour, Rtn Pramod Mallara, zonal lieutenant, zone 4 gave information about the various activities to be held at various places.

Another guest of honour, Thanvi Shenoy, district interact representative enlightened the office bearers about the various activities conducted .

Installing officer Rtn K Prashanth Shenoy, president, Rotary Club Puttur City administered Oath taking ceremony.

Sathyalatha Rai M and Suma D convenors of Interact Club coordinated the programme.

Installing Officer Rtn K. Prashanth Shenoy, president, Rotary Club Puttur City welcomed the gathering. Sujan Rai (II SEBA 'B') proposed vote of thanks. Poorvi ( II PCMB 'B' ) compered the programme.
