Siblings Crushed to Death in Mumbai


Mumbai, May 26 (PTI) An eight-year-old boy and his younger sister were today mowed down by a speeding state transport bus at Dadar TT circle in central Mumbai, police said.

The bus driver, Rajendra Jangam (46), a resident of Ratnagiri district, was arrested for rash driving resulting into death, police said.

According to police, the bus was in a high speed when Mohammed Umaray Khan and his sister Mubsera were crossing the road this morning.

Jangram lost control over the bus which hit the two, resulting in their death, police said adding the bodies were rushed to nearby Sion hospital for postmortem.
