Mumbai, Jun 7 (PTI) NCP, which is celebrating its 12th foundation day on Friday, has said that it will go ahead with its proposed 'Samajik Hakk Parishad' rally "even if it rains".
The NCP is holding a rally on June 10 to highlight the plight of the backward classes at Somaiya ground in central Sion here.
"It is not merely a mammoth rally or show of strength.
The Parishad will be truly historic in every sense because the party will make important announcements to outline its vision for the socio economic progress of the poor and backward classes," state NCP president Madhukar Pichad said.
The foundation day of NCP falls on June 9 while it is celebrating it on June 10 as the combine of Shiv Sena-BJP and RPI is holding a rally on that day.
