Bengaluru, Feb 20: The state government has in an official notification on Monday, February 20, announced the establishment of Brahmashree Narayanaguru Abhivridhi Nigama (Development Board) for the all-round progress of the Billava community.

A separate corporation was a long time demand of the Billava community, one of the backward communities in the state.

Energy and Kannada and Culture Minister V Sunil Kumar had visited chief minister Basavaraj Bommai in the company of swamijis and community leaders and had submitted a request for the corporation a few days ago. The assurance by chief minister Bommai in the budget has been realised now.

Minister Sunil Kumar has congratulated chief minister Bommai for having acted swiftly on his latest budget announcement. Meanwhile, MLAs from Eediga community, Kumar Bangarappa, Haratalu Halappa, Subhas Guthedar and Umanath Kotyan personally congratulated chief minister Basavaraja Bommai for issuing the order to establish Shree Narayanguru Development Corporation.

Glad to see Sri Narayan Guru Statue at erstwhile lady hill circle. His message is clear to all humans .. No religion, No caste ..Only human values .. Great message of peace from a great saint ..but how much we have understood and following his principles is a matter of self-introspection by each one of us.

Now it’s the development of 40%, if possible full 100% because of imminent elections. All schemes not even in the budget are seeing the daylight just to get money sanctioned for Operation Kamala. Billava community have to be satisfied only by BJP’s historic great customary promise.
