Most of the auto drivers are supported by political parties and due to this support, the auto drivers drive very carelessly and also speak very arrogantly too. Time for the public to act. Otherwise, careless driving of the vehicle drivers will increase. Our sympathies are with the bereaved members of this young student's family. May his soul rest in peace.

These auto drivers are a law unto themselves. The other day at Mallikatte, an auto hit my car from the rear due to over-speeding and then blamed me because I was stopping. As he was looking for a fare he was not looking at the road. When I asked him for his license and insurance papers and produced my, he assaulted me and then abused me. Very scary.

First of all be it rickshaw bike or car people don’t use indicators and don’t observe mirror ,now if anyone to blame here the people who provide license so easily and don’t punish drivers for overspead ,it’s high time use radar cameras in the road if police can’t do their job

Our rickshaw drivers and two wheeler riders lack basic knowledge of rules. I have seen myself while on the road while driving a car where the bike riders ride their bike as if I have to kae care of their lives by not hitting them. Almost 100% of the time the bike riders dont even stop before they join the main road ignoring right of way rule. Also why wasn't the rider wearing a helmet?

It is high time police started booking rickshaw drivers for breaking the rules. At least 100 incidents per day can be noted.

When we see a short clip of the accident it may seem like it was the rickshaws mistake but see carefully ,the Rik was waiting there for almost a month for many vehicles to pass and then took a turn. Secondly, the scooter rider was in high speed, looking at something on the right side and suddenly in the last split second he sees the rik, hits it in high speed without brakes and when his body is flung in the air at high speed hitting the tree, there's no protection,no helmet. It was an instant death within a second,Rik had very little role to play in this accident. Unfortunately a young life has been lost due to negligence and over speeding once again.

There is no one to question auto rikshaw drivers in city. they are driving the vehicle as if they are in the sea and there is no one else. Sneaking from left side, joining the road suddenly without seeing the vehicles on the track ,sudden turns, going very slowly at 10 km /hr speed despite vehicles horning from behind..
