‘Soans Farm’ excels in multiple crop combinations like coconut, pepper, and pineapple or mango, pepper and vanilla. Pineapple has been the major produce since Dr Soans’ father’s time in the early 1930s. Other produce are Cashew, Banana, Arecanut, Nutmeg, cinnamon and more. Dr. Soans was a noble, honest and a thorough gentleman. Having so many degrees in his kitty, with such outstanding awards on his feather, he was such a humble person. For us Professionally, Dr. Soans - Pineapple Farm is one of the main attractions for our Foreign Tourists. We would have taken not less than tens of thousands of Foreign Cruise Passengers to his Farm, few lunches at the bamboo grove, the pineapple juice every thing was so well taken care of by his family & him personally. His passion for his farm, the new plants etc is appreciable. On a lighter note, I always teased him saying : if we traveled aboard, we went shopping for clothes or electronics or other items, but Dr. Soans shopped for new variety of plants. That is his passion towards his Farm Dear Vinod, other children, Mr. I. V. Soans, entire team Lia and my office team, my family joins me in comforting you at this difficult time. may God grant him eternal rest and peace we pray. May God Bless you all with strength and courage to face this huge loss. Donnet, Eldon & Eulalia Dsouza - Lia Travels & Tours, Bejai & Team Lia Salutes you Dr. Soans. Rest in peace.

One of the great Personality of the undivided South Kanara. A true son of the soil and innovative agriculturist. Visiting his land of his conceiving was always a pleasure. He took pride in showing everything what he planted. Indeed a great personality. His oral captions to the plants, trees, fruits and vegetables were always interesting. A scientist, deep rooted in the soil. We will miss him dearly in his Soans Farm.
