Mangaluru Apr 17: Director general of police (DGP) Praveen Sood unveiled two initiatives by Mangaluru City Police on Sunday April 16.

The two initiatives are feedback system by scanning QR code and Mangaluru city police chatbot service to trace lost mobile phones.

Since the CIER portal was launched, 757 requests been filed for the lost mobile phones, .While 200 were traced, 120 mobile phones were found and handed over to the rightful owners.

Whoever has lost a mobile phone can send a HI message to WhatsApp number +918277949183. Soon after sending the HI message, the concerned person will receive a link to fill in the form and submit to get the lost mobile phone back.

The person need not visit the police station, and can fill the form about the details of the lost phone from any place. The chatbot service will be more convenient to the public. The concerned complainant should belong to Mangaluru city police limits. They can drop a WhatsApp message from anywhere. The complainant should know their mobile phone’s IMEI number.

Another initiative taken up by the city police is feedback system by scanning QR code. The QR code is set up in police stations and reception areas and pamphlets regarding the same have been distributed. One can scan the QR code and share their opinion, complaints or suggestion after their visit to the police stations.

Namaskar. Please be informed that consequent to the new location of buses, city and others which are now commencing from the terminal near State Bank Fish market, is a good development. How ever, there is much to be arranged to bring order, discipline, cleanliness and safety in this new terminal for a large number of buses plying. Further, pedestrian crossing the road from Police Commissioners office to Nehru Maidan side is posing a lot of difficulty to aged and children and even others. The speeding vehicles and buses, without a break, pose a serious hazard to all and needs some traffic regulation. Dhanyavad.

Feedback for you or Shashi Kumar. Shashi Kumar provided unimaginary justice to the words of policians. So we don't want to give bad feedback because he didn't do anything good for public. You are newly appointed and asking feedback.
