Kundapur: Rider killed, 2 injured in jeep, scooter, bike, cycle serial mishap

Kundapur, Apr 23: A scooter rider lost his life in a series of accidents involving a jeep, a scooter, a bike, and a cycle on Sunday, April 23 evening in front of Chandika Durgaparameshwari temple in Kumbashi of Anegudde on National Highway 66.

The deceased has been identified as Thekkate Nagaraj Devadiga.

According to reports, a jeep traveling from Udupi towards Kundapur lost control due to the driver's recklessness, colliding first with a scooter on the side of the road. The jeep then hit a cyclist before colliding with a parked bike and crashing into a nearby house.

The scooter rider died on the spot, while the injured cyclist and biker have been hospitalized.
