Qatar, Jun 24: CRIC QATAR, the leading hard tennis cricket organization in Qatar, proudly announces the successful conclusion of its highly anticipated Mega Cricket Carnival, which witnessed an astounding participation of 48 teams. This year's tournament showcased the organization's commitment to promoting cricket in Qatar and nurturing local talent.
The CRIC QATAR Cricket Carnival, held at various venues across the country, spanned several weeks, captivating cricket enthusiasts and showcasing thrilling cricket matches. In a bid to enhance the competitive spirit, CRIC QATAR introduced a ground-breaking approach by dividing the league tournament into two divisions - Division A and Division B - for both the morning and evening sessions. This decision aimed to provide a fair and balanced platform for teams of all skill levels to compete and elevate their game.
As a testament to the immense popularity of CRIC QATAR, a staggering 738 cricket teams are currently registered with the organization, representing an astonishing pool of over 14,000 players. This impressive participation reflects the passion and dedication of cricket enthusiasts in Qatar and highlights CRIC QATAR's role as a leading brand in the country's hard tennis cricket landscape.
The cricket carnival witnessed fierce competition and showcased exceptional cricket skills throughout the tournament. Participating teams, comprising both amateur and professional players, displayed exceptional sportsmanship, determination, and camaraderie. The event served as a breeding ground for talent development and offered a unique opportunity for players to showcase their abilities.
Syed Rafi, president of CRIC QATAR, expressed his gratitude to all the teams, players, officials, delegates, and fans who contributed to the overwhelming success of the Cricket Carnival. There were 4 champions in this league tournament, Markhiya XI team defeated 11 Brothers team in Morning Division A. Camaroon Sports team defeated S L Lions team in Morning Division B. Coastal Kings team defeated Q Lankans team in afternoon Division A. Ayza Khan XI team defeated Baraka XI team in afternoon Division B.
The trophies along with the cash prizes were handed over to the winners and runner-up’s by the guest of honours.
