Mangaluru: Srinivas University IPSLM holds orientation programme

Mangaluru, Aug 4: Srinivas University Institute of Port, Shipping & Logistics Management (IPSLM) organised the orientation programme 2023-24 on August 2 at Srinivas University city campus Pandeshwar.

Honourable chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao in his presidential address said, "In our institution, students will have the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to fulfil their dreams. Emphasizing the importance of humbleness, we believe it should be an integral part of a student's life, enabling them to shine brightly like diamonds upon successful completion of the undergraduate programme."

Honourable pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr A Srinivas Rao said, "These days, industry requires specialised students. Students should be committed to their studies, so they can achieve their dream."

A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, trustee member of Srinivas University board of governors wished the students a fruitful student life.

Prof Er A Mitra S Rao, trustee member of Srinivas University board of governors, administered the oath.

Srinivas University development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar said, "In order to experience lasting happiness and fulfilment in life, it is essential to invest four years of dedicated effort in your studies. Only through this commitment to learning can you lay the foundation for a rewarding and satisfying future."

HOD of UG courses Prof Nelson Pereira briefed about courses.

Dean of IPSLM Dr Sonia Noronha welcomed the gathering. HOD of MBA Prof Sagar Srinivas gave the vote of thanks. Prof Souparnika and Prof Meghashree compered the programme.
