Kundapur: Orientation programme for first year students held in IMJ institute held

Kundapur, Aug 24: IMJ Institute of Science & Commerce, Moodlakatte organized ‘Deeksharamba’ orientation programme for its first year students.

Addressing the students, renowned practicing chartered accountant of Manipal CA Muralidhar Kini said, “Parents await to see the success of their children. There is no need to be helpless, everyone will have special talents. Perfect education will bring these hidden talents to the daylight. To learn, students should first have diligence and interest. This will help the students to achieve more and aim to reach high in life.”

Prof Ramakrishna B G, principal Kundapur government PU College said, “With the mission of eternal heritage, it is an institution that is very conducive to the attainment of knowledge, the light we need to dispel the darkness within us. That light is knowledge within us. Marks alone do not define our lives, there is a need for qualitative education.”

Dr Pratiba M Patel, principal addressing the first year students said, “Education is needed to make a living. Life can be successful only when there is an answer about its outlines. One should keep the mission of learning in mind and spend the way of life with value. Also the discernment of perception of right and wrong should be developed.”

Prof Jayashel Kumar, vice principal and Prof Swarna Rai, HOD BCA department were also present.

Prof Sumanasa of Kannada department compered the programme. English department HOD Prof Pavana introduced the guests.
