Bantwal, Oct 11: Income Tax raids were reportedly conducted on a beedi entrepreneur's house in Perne of Bantwal taluk on Tuesday, October 10 where a fleet of government cars belonging to the department were parked. However, no confirmed reports were available on the I-T raids.

The businessman's house is located in Kadambu of Perne close to NH 75. Income Tax sleuths who raided Mohammed Ali's house, who owns Anitha Beedi, reportedly checked all the records and documents as part of the exercise.

However, the reason for the I-T raid is not known. It is also not known whether it is a case of disproportionate assets or tax evasion for which the raid was conducted.

Only an official statement on the raid is likely to substantiate the reason for conducting the exercise.

After the 360 degree profiling and anonymous assessment, no one can escape. Kisi ko baksha nahin jaygega. White money grows and black money depreciates. Apart from that the penalty which can be upto 300 %. Deal only in white money, have a good sleep at night.
