Praveen Chowgule deserves capital punishment. No doubt about that. The law should investigate this in a very holistic manner and not thru media trial. Its a big question mark, if an educated, married man with 2 kids will kill a girl just for 'jealousy' or 'love'. Was it really one sided? Nobody parts or accepts a 2 wheeler from just 'friends' for such a long time. Some transaction may have gone wrong in illegal dealings. Smuggling is a one way street. There is only appointment and no resignation or retirement. Who knows , Praveen may even commit 'suicide' in prison in the coming days.

Police seem to have a consistent narrative and evidence to support it. I hope this stands in Court (also higher courts). I hope the intent to murder can be proved. But what about motive? That is not important? Praveen gave his scooter to the lady and she took it too. Then when did this transition from being generous turn into intent to kill and why?

PC has to be sentenced to death or life in prison. This , Provided PC sticks to what he has blurted now. However if he twists statements then its a different ball game altogether. The motive still is not convincing. Lots of questions still need to be answered . Especially the smuggling angle, his partners in crime , etc. Also PC scooter being used by the deceased. ?
