Rajasthan, Dec 16: Despite the common trend among UPSC aspirants to seek coaching, Purvi Nanda, with unwavering determination, sailed through the rigorous examination via self-study.

Originally hailing from Udaipur, Purvi completed her primary education in her birthplace. In 2019, she graduated in law from the National Law University.

Purvi's father played a pivotal role in her journey towards becoming an IRS officer. Although she has not attained the rank of an IAS officer, she secured the 224th position in the 2020 IAS examination through relentless self-study.

Dedicating 11 to 12 hours daily to rigorous study, Purvi meticulously delved into previous years' question papers and developed a unique examination strategy. Her disciplined approach involved minimal use of social media and telephone distractions. Currently, she serves in the income tax department.

As an inspiration to aspiring UPSC candidates, Purvi penned the book 'Behind the Scene: The Untold Stories of UPSC Aspirants’. In this book, she shares her experience of cracking the exam along with valuable advice and tips for young aspirants. Furthermore, Purvi continues her studies with the ambition of achieving the prestigious rank of an IAS officer.
