Mangaluru, Feb 14: “Kannada film ‘KTM’ produced under the banner of Mahasimha Movies will be released across the state on February 16,” said actress Usha Bhandary on Wednesday February 14.

Addressing media at the press club, Usha Bhandary said that the film was shot in various places of Dakshina Kannada district. She said, “The film draws attention by its title. It mesmerizes by its songs. Its trailer released recently has aroused interest among the audience. The beautiful love story in the film has one hero and two heroines. The hero longs for love and the heroines love him more than their lives. The ups and downs in the life of the hero is the highlight of the film.”

Dikshit Shetty of ‘Dia’ fame will be seen in the main role in the film. Sanjana Das and Kajal Kunder have acted opposite Dikshit Shetty. Usha Bhandary, Prakash Tuminadu, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Sanil Guru, Babu Hirannayya, Dev Devayya, Abhishek, ‘Big Boss’ fame Santhosh and several artistes are in the cast.

Arun, the director of ‘Atharva’ has directed KTM. This is their second venture. Vinay has produced the film under Mahsimha movies. Rakshay is the co-producer. The film has cinematography by Navin, editing by Arjun Kittu, music direction by Chetan and dialogues by Deshapriya.

Earlier, more than 70 Kannada celebrities had released the teaser of KTM at the same time on social media and wished it best of luck.

Rishab Shetty, Dimple queen Rachita Ram, Mahanati fame Keerthi Suresh, Rashmika Mandanna, Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, Telugu film actor Nani and Rahul Ravindran have released the trailer in social media and conveyed their wishes.

Dikshit Shetty has acted in Telugu and Malayalam films besides Kannada. His films including Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, Girl Friend, Blink, King Jacky queen and others will be released soon.

“After Dia, my film is getting released after four years. KTM is produced after preparations by looking for novelty and challenging roles. My responsibility has increased after Dia. I am confident that KTM will be liked by the audience. The essence of the title of the film will be known to the audience after watching KTM,” said Dikshit Shetty.

“I am not indulging in serials much. I am not able to spend time for serials as I am busy in the acting school that I am going to start,” said Usha Bhandary.
