Mangalore: Parts of Coast Receive Good Rainfall

Mangalore, Oct 15: A number of regions across undivided Dakshina Kannada district received good rainfall coupled with thunder on Friday October 14.

Beltangady, Puttur, Sullia and some other places got rain in the evening, while Subrahmanya drenched in rain since morning. Dharmasthala registered  five cm rain, which happened to be highest in the state, while the quantum of rain in Karkala was three cm. Some places like the city, Moodbidri and Mulky experienced light rain at night. Three houses in Kundapur taluk suffered damages due to lightning.

The meteorological department has predicted that rains will visit many places in the coast and some regions in southern hinterland during the next two days.
