Mangaluru, May 31: The process of teacher learning is ongoing and helps educators advance their ability to instruct, acquire new information, and gain new skills—all of which benefit students' learning.

St Thersa's School conducted subject wise workshops for the teachers. Ritty D'Souza, Sela, Doreen D'Vaz, Ritty Baretto and Sandya Rai, were the resource persons.

The primary objectives of the workshops were to enhance teachers understanding of effective teaching methodologies and to provide guidance on structuring question papers.

The workshop focused on phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary and sentence structure.

It emphasised students to think creatively and to foster scientific temper. Reading, speaking, listening and writing skills to be given importance.

Strategies tackling comprehension passage, Letter writing techniques were discussed. The workshop delved into the techniques for crafting effective narrative, descriptive, and picture-based compositions

Teachers were encouraged to use new and creative teaching techniques during the class. The training's main goals were to increase students' ability to think critically and apply logic.

In order to influence student learning and development, the training focused on developing capacity of the students in their academics. It was an informative and enriching session.
