Udupi: Books donated to library at SMS English Medium School

Udupi, Jun 24: Books were donated to the library at SMS English Medium School by Senior Chamber International Karkala Legion.

Senior Chamber International Karkala Legion donated about 120 new books to the SMS English Medium School library. The national organizers of the association, Akshata, senior PPF, K Sanmath Hegde, Legion president, Vijaykumar Shetty, treasurer of the legion, and Thomas Adison Vaz, member of the legion donated the books.

Emphasizing on the importance of supporting education in the local community, senior PPF Akshata said, “We are honoured to donate the books to SMS English Medium School, Brahmavar. Education is the foundation for a bright future. Books covering a wide range of subjects greatly enhance a school library and provide students with more resources for learning and exploring. We hope these resources inspire students to read, learn and grow.”

The school principal thanked the donors and said, “These books will be more useful to our students. They will open the world of knowledge to our students. We appreciate the generosity of the Senior Chamber International Karkala Legion.”
