A very common misconception among people is that EV,s are a Fire Hazard. However the fact is that when it comes to fires, Hybrid cars are No. 1 Fire Hazard followed by petrol and diesel cars. EV;s actually have a very low fire risk. Most common reason for a car fire is modification of factory electrical wiring to install unnecessary accessories, which add electrical load on the wiring and result in melting of wires and short circuit.
