Udupi, Jul 5: A heavy truck loaded with sugar overturned on the Mullikatte-Kundapur National Highway on Friday July 5.
The truck, traveling from Solapur to Kerala, collided with another vehicle while attempting to avoid an oncoming heavy vehicle. Fortunately, the driver managed to escape unscathed.
Gangolli police and highway patrol officers arrived at the scene to manage the situation. The Mullikatte highway junction, known for accidents, experienced temporary traffic disruptions due to the incident.
Several accidents have previously occurred at this junction, prompting locals to urge authorities to address the issue.
