Intruder unmasked: WhatsApp group admin caught sneaking into homes

Kozhikode, Jul 21: In the neighborhood of Korangad, Kozhikode, residents were alarmed by repeated nighttime intrusions into their homes. To address this, locals formed a WhatsApp group and organized nightly searches to catch the intruder. However, they were shocked to discover that the person leading the search was the very intruder they were trying to apprehend.

The individual, who was the admin of the WhatsApp group created to catch the eavesdropper, was caught on CCTV footage sneaking into homes. The intruder would jump over walls and enter bedrooms, causing significant disturbance. Despite nightly searches that lasted for several days, the group was initially unsuccessful in identifying the culprit.

The breakthrough came when the CCTV footage revealed the shocking truth: the young man spearheading the search efforts was the intruder himself. By understanding the discussions within the WhatsApp group, he was able to avoid detection during the searches. However, he failed to notice the presence of CCTV cameras in one of the houses, leading to his capture on video.

Despite the discovery, no police case has been filed as no formal complaints have been lodged by the residents. The incident has left the community in disbelief and highlights the need for vigilance and proper security measures.
