Mangalurean Kian P C wins second consecutive bronze at state badminton tournament

Mangaluru, Jul 29: Kian PC, a young badminton sensation from Mangaluru, has secured his second consecutive bronze medal at the Yonex Sunrise Karnataka State Badminton Ranking tournament held in Bengaluru from July 22 to 27.

Earlier this month, Kian clinched his first bronze medal in doubles, partnering with Shivank from Bengaluru at the state-level tournament in Shivamogga from July 1 to 7, despite being just 12 years old.

In the recently concluded state ranking tournament at Vishwa Vidya Peetha, Bengaluru, Kian won his second bronze medal in mixed doubles, partnering with Unnathi MN from Sringeri.

Kian is the son of Rayeez P C and Sameeha Majeed.
