Bengaluru, Sep 18: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), launched in 2015 by the ministry of education, is a widely respected framework that ranks higher education institutions across India.

Its methodology assesses institutions on five critical parameters: teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practices; graduation outcomes; outreach and inclusivity; and perception. In 2024, Christ University distinguished itself among 10,845 participating institutions from across India, securing 60th position in the university category. This achievement reflects the consistent growth and commitment to excellence in education by the university.

Now in its ninth edition, the NIRF rankings have become a benchmark for academic institutions, and Christ University continues to hold its ground amidst competition from centrally and state-funded universities, as well as institutes of national importance like IITs, NITs, ISER, and AIIMS in the overall category. The focused approach and strategic planning have been pivotal in the remarkable performance by the University across the years.
