Mangaluru: The Yenepoya Institute celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi

Mangaluru, Oct 7: The Yenepoya School and The Yenepoya School World commemorated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, with a fervent display of community service. A floral garland was placed around Mahatma Gandhi's portrait, symbolizing our deepest reverence. Then, the students enthusiastically participated in Swachh Bharat Abhian.

The tiny tots of Montessori demonstrated remarkable teamwork as they meticulously cleaned their classrooms.

The students of classes 1 & 2 took charge of cleaning the school campus, showcasing their commitment to environmental sustainability. They collected litter and ensured the premises were spotless.

Classes 3, 4 & 5 students embarked on a noble mission to clean Kadri Park. Armed with gloves, trash bags, and an unwavering determination, they removed plastic waste and other pollutants.

The students of classes 6, 7, & 8 and The Yenepoya School World students took charge of cleaning Ullal Beach and Someshwar Beach. Their collective efforts highlighted the significance of community involvement in preserving the ecosystem.

The Gandhi Jayanthi celebration at The Yenepoya School and The Yenepoya School World was a resounding success with students, teachers, and staff coming together to promote cleanliness, community service and environmental awareness.
