Bantwal, Oct 26: Sudeep Kumar Shetty has officially assumed office as the new president of Mani Grama Panchayat, marking an important moment for local governance. Known for his active involvement in religious and social initiatives, Shetty has a distinguished background, previously serving as the president of the Paanemangalore Block Congress and the Mani Youth Forum.

In the election proceedings, Sujatha Poojari will continue as vice-president. The electoral process was overseen by Aravind K M, the Tahsildar in charge of Bantwal, with assistance from deputy Tahsildar Naveen Kumar and Panchayat Development officer Girija, along with their dedicated staff.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including former ZP member Chandraprakash Shetty, Paanemangalore Block Congress president Chandrashekar Bhandari, Women’s Congress president Jayanthi Poojari, former GP president Balakrishna Alva, and former vice-president Ibrahim K Mani.

Other attendees, such as members Melvin Kishore Martins, Ramani D Poojari, and Preethi Dinna Pereira, expressed their congratulations to Shetty.
