Mumbai, Dec 14: The Kandivali (West) branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, a multi-scheduled bank, was shifted to M G Road on Monday December 12.
Billavar Association president and the Bank’s director Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the relocated branch on Monday morning.
Sai Care Logistics Limited chairman Surendra A Poojary inaugurated the banking facilities.
Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian inaugurated the ATM kiosk and deputy chairperson lawyer Rohini J Salian inaugurated the safe deposit lockers on the occasion.
Vidwan K Sadashiv Shanti performed various religious celebrations at the relocated branch.
Satish and Sujaya S Poojary couple was present during ‘puja’ celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Jaya Suvarna said that Kandivali (West) branch was functioning in a rented premises since 1996 and has now relocated to its own premises.
Bank directors Pushpalaata N Salian, L V Amin, Jyoti K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Mohan G Poojary, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Shankar D Poojary, Jagannat V Kotian, N Nityanand, Bhaskar M Salian and Rohit M Suvarna, and CEO B K Amin were present on the occasion.
Hundreds of bank customers including Keshav Poojary, M S Rao, Dr N G Bhat, Ashwajit Hejamady, Gangadar J Poojary, N M Sanil, Dayanand Poojary Varanga, Ramesh Shivapura, Yogesh Hejamady, Shankar Suvarna Khar, Dayanand Kumar, Anik K Salian, N T Kukyan, Dinesh Takker, Shivaram G Poojary, Sanjay Surana, and Bhavesh Parekh were present.
