Srinivas University organises five-day faculty development programme

Mangaluru, Jan 30: The five-day faculty development programme (FDP) on "E-Learning for Faculty Excellence," organised by the Srinivas Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Mukka-Mangaluru, was held from January 4 to 9.

The programme was aimed to enhance faculty skills in e-learning methodologies and digital content creation. Inaugurated by chief guest Dr Jayashree Bolar, assistant registrar of Srinivas University, the FDP featured expert sessions by distinguished resource persons, including Dr Sridhara Acharya on E-learning & E-content design, Jayaram Thumbe on graphics & animation, Vivek Vijay Kumar on audio & podcasting, and Vyshak R on documentation & presentation tools.

The programme concluded with a hands-on session on online video creation and an e-content project development. Hosted at the Engineering Block, the event was coordinated by Prof Pavana Krishnamoorthy, dean, IAHS and asst prof Sahana Patil.

About 54 participants gained valuable insights into innovative teaching tools and techniques, paving the way for enriched learning environments.
