Kundapur: School students prevent major fire in Kota

Kundapur, Feb 1: Students of a local school in Moodugiliyaru, under Kota gram panchayat limits, successfully extinguished a wildfire, preventing a major disaster. Their timely action has earned praise from the public.

A fire had broken out in the forested area near SHRHF in Moodugiliyaru.

Noticing the flames, students of a local primary school—Nesar, Vikas, and Manvitha from Class 7, and Gaurav from Class 6—acted swiftly and bravely to douse the fire.

The staff of SHRHF later joined hands with the students to bring the fire under control successfully.
