Bangalore, Jan21 (PTI): Silver idols and pooja vessels, worth about Rs three lakh, were stolen by some unindentified persons from the residence of former Karnataka Lokayukta Shivaraj Patil's house here last night, police said today.
They gained entry into the house by climbing the compound wall and breaking open the back door.
Barring silver idols of gods and some pooja vessels, nothing else had been stolen, police said. The inmates were asleep when the incident occurred, they said .
