The sessions began with an introduction to the objectives of ATL and its role in nurturing young innovators. Demonstrations on simple electronic circuits, Arduino-based LED blinking, and sensor-based projects were carried out by SMVITM students. Models and prototypes prepared by the college students were also showcased to motivate the participants. Interactive discussions and group activities were conducted, encouraging the school students to think about local problems and suggest innovative solutions. A Q&A session further enhanced their understanding of technology and innovation.

The programme had a positive impact on all three schools. The students became more aware of the opportunities offered by ATL and gained practical exposure to tinkering and prototyping. The activity also helped develop mentoring and leadership skills among the SMVITM students.

In conclusion, the mentoring initiative was successful in creating curiosity and enthusiasm among school students while strengthening the collaboration between SMVITM and local schools.
