Mangaluru hosts poster launch for 12th 'Jerry Night' music spectacle

Mangaluru, Dec 5: The much-awaited first poster for singer and Konkani lyricist Jerry Bondel’s 12th “Jerry Night” music programme was unveiled on Friday, December 5 at 5 pm in the auditorium of MCC Bank, Hampankatta, Mangaluru.

The event was blessed by the president of Don Bosco Auditorium, Mangaluru, Fr Rocky D’Cunha, who extended his heartfelt wishes for the success of the programme.

The poster launch on stage was presided over by Jerry Bondel, MCC Bank chairman 'Sahakara Ratna' Anil Lobo, and Fermai, who jointly oversaw the proceedings.

Dignitaries present included Stany Alvaris, president of the Konkani Sahitya Academy, governing board member Alwyn Pinto, Daijiworld News Network administrators Stany D’Souza Bela and Praveen Tauro, retired police officer Lenet Castalino, Leslie D’Cruz, owner of Swagat Automobiles and Garage, Nanthoor, singer Leo Ranipur, social worker Bolphin D’Souza, and Sweedal Kumari.

The official poster for “Jerry Night” was jointly unveiled by Anil Lobo, chairman of MCC Bank, and Stany Alvaris, president of the Konkani Sahitya Academy, marking the commencement of celebrations. Roshan Crasta, Paldane oversaw the programme’s management and coordination.

Guests were treated to refreshments, including cold drinks and fruits, as the launch set the stage for what promises to be a memorable evening of music and celebration.
