A chargesheet has been filed against former BJP MLA Subhash Guttehdar, his son Harshanand, and a total of seven persons. In the voluminous 22,000-page chargesheet, former MLA Subhash Guttehdar, his son Harshanand, and five others have been named as accused.

SIT sources stated that investigations have confirmed the involvement of Subhash Guttehdar in the alleged voter fraud that took place during the 2023 Assembly elections.
Following directions from the state government, a Special Investigation Team was constituted under the leadership of CID additional director general of police B K Singh. After completing the investigation, the SIT submitted a chargesheet running into nearly 22,000 pages before the court.
The investigation revealed that a call centre was used to delete 5,994 votes. It has also come to light that the former MLA made monetary payments to facilitate the voter fraud.
