Udupi: Police nab fifth accused in AKMS bus owner Saifuddin murder case

Udupi, Dec 15: Udupi police on Monday arrested the fifth accused in connection with the murder of AKMS bus owner Saifuddin.

The arrested accused has been identified as Mali Mohammed Siyan (31), a resident of Shanthi Nagar near Mission Compound, Udupi. Police arrested him at around 10.30 am near the MGM College bus stand.

During the arrest, police seized a Glanza car bearing registration number KA20 MF 207, which was allegedly used in the commission of the crime, along with a mobile phone used by the accused.

The accused has been produced before the court.

Earlier, four other accused in the case had already been arrested and are presently in judicial custody.
