Mangaluru, Feb 18: Music enthusiasts were treated to a spectacular evening as Kemril Pinto, along with Mogachi Lahran, lit up the stage at Swastika Waterfront with an electrifying musical concert on Monday night. The event marked a milestone in the young drummer’s journey, celebrating talent, collaboration, and contemporary music.
The programme opened with warm opening remarks by MC VJ Dixon, setting the tone for an energetic night. This was followed by a high-octane opening drum concert by Kemril Pinto, who impressed the audience with powerful drum covers that showcased both intensity and finesse, earning thunderous applause.













































Liston D’Souza, event planner, Rachana Creations, delivered the welcome address, after which dignitaries were invited to the dais. The chief guest, Fr Praveen Martis SJ, vice chancellor of St Aloysius Deemed to be University, in his address spoke warmly about Kemril, appreciating his extraordinary talent at such a young age. He highlighted how Kemril’s parents have been his strong backbone, constantly supporting and nurturing his passion, which is clearly reflected in his brilliant performances. He also made special mention of Kemril’s sister Kiona Anne Pinto, appreciating her artistic abilities and realistic artwork, and encouraged her to continue excelling in the field of art.
Guest of honour Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld media, expressed his amazement at Kemril’s exceptional performance, stating that he was truly stunned by the level of brilliance showcased by such a young talent. He congratulated Vincent Fernandes for recognizing and bringing this remarkable talent to the limelight. He also emphasized the importance of parents encouraging children to actively participate in cultural activities, as such support plays a vital role in helping young talents grow, improve, and achieve excellence.
A major highlight of the evening was the official launch of the Kemril Pinto YouTube Channel, unveiled by Fr Praveen Martis SJ. This segment also featured the release of three songs from Mogachi Lahran, with vocals by Vincent Fernandes Cascia and dynamic drum accompaniment by Kemril Pinto, blending melody with rhythm seamlessly.
The honouring ceremony that followed was a proud moment for the young drummer, with a shawl presented by the chief guest Fr Praveen Martis SJ, a bouquet by Walter Nandalike, and a memento by Vincent Fernandes Cascia.
The latter half of the programme featured a rich mix of songs, drum covers, and dance performances by Urban Groves, along with melodious renditions by multiple singers. The event concluded on a festive note with an energetic baila session, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.
A major highlight of the evening was the extraordinary performance by Kemril Pinto, who held the audience spellbound with a series of powerful drum cover performances spanning multiple genres. Despite his young age, Kemril displayed remarkable maturity, precision, and stage confidence as he seamlessly adapted his drumming to classic rock, pop, soft rock, and contemporary numbers.

He specially thanked the audience for their overwhelming encouragement and support towards his son’s musical journey.
