St Joseph Engineering College set to host HackToFuture 4.0

Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 19: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), in continued collaboration with EG India Private Limited, is set to host HackToFuture 4.0, a premier 36-hour overnight hackathon scheduled from the evening of April 15 to the morning of April 17 at its campus in Vamanjoor.

Building on the success of its previous editions, HackToFuture 4.0 aims to bring together student innovators from leading institutions across India. The event will serve as a dynamic platform for participants to compete, collaborate, and create cutting-edge technological solutions.

HackToFuture has grown into one of the most anticipated student hackathons in South India. The previous edition, HackToFuture 3.0, received an overwhelming response with over 2,000 registrations from more than 300 colleges, including premier institutions such as NITs, MIT Manipal, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, and RV College of Engineering. This year’s edition is expected to surpass these milestones with increased participation, deeper industry engagement, and prizes exceeding Rs 4 lac.

HackToFuture 4.0 will challenge participants to develop innovative, real-world solutions across four key domains:

  • Cloud Architecture: Designing scalable, cloud-native solutions addressing infrastructure, deployment, and optimization challenges.

  • DevOps: Building robust pipelines, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery systems for modern software workflows.

  • Cybersecurity: Creating solutions to tackle emerging threats and strengthen digital ecosystems.

  • Open Innovation: An open track encouraging creative, technology-driven solutions to real-world problems, accessible to students of all years, including first-year participants.
