Car runs amok on NH at Bantwal's Shanti Angadi, three pedestrians injured

Bantwal, Jul 16: Three pedestrians sustained injuries after a car went out of control and ploughed into parked vehicles before hitting people walking along the National Highway at Shanti Angadi in Bantwal taluk on Wednesday.

The injured have been identified as Fatima, her daughter Salmiya, and Shaukat Ali. Locals rushed to their aid, and they were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The impact of the accident also caused damage to vehicles parked along the roadside.

A case has been registered at the Bantwal Traffic police station, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
