Mumbai: Tulu–Kannadiga Associations Celebrate ‘Gurupoornima’

Mumbai, Jul 5:
Under the joint auspices of Gurudev Seva Balga, Vajramata Mahila Vikas Kendra Maharastra unit, and Bunts Sangh, ‘Gurupoornima’ was celebrated with pomp and gaiety at Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East), on Tuesday July 3.
 
Swami Gurudevanand of Odiyoor Mutt graced the occasion and performed various religious rites to celebrate Gurupoornima on Tuesday evening.

Lawyer Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty, president of Gurudev Seva Balaga, inaugurated the religious celebrations.
 
Vice-president Chandrahas Shetty, honorary secretary Prakash Shetty Petemane, treasurer Bhoja Shetty, joint secretaries Damodar Shetty and Divakar Shetty, joint treasurer Ravi Shetty Vikhroli, Vajramata Mahila Vikas Kendra Maharastra unit president Revati Vamayya Shetty, secretary Chitra R Shetty, Bunts Sangh president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, honorary chief secretary chartered accountant Sadashiv B Shetty, honorary treasurer chartered accountant Satish N Shetty, joint secretary Ultoor Mohandas Shetty, joint treasurer Praveen B Shetty, women’s wing president Lata P Shetty, youth wing president Shivaprasad Shetty and hundreds of devotees were present on the occasion.
 
Merkala Tyampanna Shetty, Raghu P Shetty, Simunje Parari, Prakash Shetty Shibaroor, Babu S Shetty, Sundar L Shetty, Narayan R Shetty, and Dr Sunita M Shetty were also present.
