Dubai, Nov 12 : The Red carpet is all set to be rolled out for the big sizzling Wilson Olivera Nite at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai! A super lightening musical show hosted by the St Michael's Mangalorean Konkani Community (SMMKC), Sharjah, is on 23rd November 2012.
Get ready for 'Wilson Olivera Nite' striking your hearts from 6:30 pm onwards. It will be the first ever Konkani mega show by SMMKC, Sharjah. The Konkani hearts are sure to skip a beat as they will be spectators to one of the most popular and latest hit compositions of Wilson Olivera during the show.
Popularly known as ‘Sangeeth Sardar’, Wilson Olivera has over 800 self-composed songs & six music albums to his credit, ‘Oh Mhojea Bhangara’ was the latest album from his end which became quite popular among Konkani music lovers. Needless to say, with his momentous lyrics & melodious voice, he’s a musical heart throb among Konkani music lovers and very evidently has also been conferred the title of ‘Konkan Manik’.
Achieving prestigious awards like 'Konkani Kala Samaj Puraskar' in 1995, 'Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Award' in 2003, 'Divo Sahitya Puraskar' in 2008 and 'Konkani Surdas Puraskar' in 2009, he has all the more established a special aura in the hearts of the Konkani audience.

Being the proud winner of International Toast masters Award for four consecutive years, Olivera is believed to prove his mark ever again with his delivery of perfectly-timed comic strings & humor filled quotes. His recognition comes a long way, very much with experience. Having compeered for innumerable musical shows of immensely famous artistes namely, the legendary Konkan Kogul late Wilfy Rebimbus, Henry D'Souza, Melwyn Peris, Claud D'Souza, late Mick Max, Maxim Pereira, Goan Nightingale Lorna and Esther Noronha, he is sure to hold the Konkani audience absolutely awestruck.
Renowned Orchestra maestro Adrian Gomes, a genius of all musical instruments and the man behind Wilson Oliver's 3rd and 4th music album compositions along with 3 instrumental albums to his credit, will ooze additional charm to this extravaganza, leading as the music director for this musical show. Playing a musical accompaniment to renowned orchestras, performing for several distinguished Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil screen playback singers and directors like O.P. Nayyar, Dr P Susheela, Vasundhara Das etc., it is a privilege that comes with a sense of achievement for Adrian Gomes. He will be accompanied by the well known music troupe of Ramiro Maschranes. Remarked as one of the most popular music bands, it has a high score of impeccable renditions at several Mangalorean & Goan shows in the UAE. Adrian’s musical expertise when merged with Ramiro's team is bound to take the mass for a sensational musical tour.
Along with Wilson Olivera additional highlights of the show are complimented by renowned singers like Rony D’Cunha, Rathan Castelino, Pradeep Pinto, Prasanth Pinto, Joseph Mathias, Zeena Pereira, Preema Rodrigues and Nisha Lobo, all being popular names in the Konkan world of music merely due to their evergreen rendition of melodious performances. Apart from ‘Gaana’, the other moments of delight will be contributed by the very popular comedy group of the Konkani world 'Me-Mo-Ri' along with famous Lavina Fernandes, who are a sure treat to your health by letting you laugh your heart out with their bone-tickling one-liner humor shots.
Adding to it, outstanding performances of very prominent dance troupes ‘Ocean Kids’ led by truly artistic choreographers Vinod Sequeira along with his talented group and dynamic dance master Arun Lobo's Feat Beet Group will make you tempted to groove to their mesmerizing dance moves & steps.
