Mangalore, Feb 5: Wilmix Mazerello, noted Konkani personality and president of Dalgado Konkani Academy, Goa along with Sharon accompanided by the 'Goan Touch' music group stole the show and the hearts of Mangalorean music-lovers in the form of 'Goemcho Pormoll' on Sunday, Feb 5 evening at Kalaangann. The programme was presented as the 50th 'Moinealli Manchi', which has been successfully stage on every first Sunday of the month without break for more than four years now.

Sharon sang some lovely numbers like 'Chol Goem-a iea', 'Mhojem jivit mhojo sounsar'. 'Mhaka fon kor', 'Meuta tem ghe', "Pausacho dis', 'Missed Call dita', 'Utor' and 'Konnem mhaka sanglem'. However, the last song 'Carnaval viva viva Carnaval' appeared to have specially impressed the audience, as it spread a flavour of the much-popular Goan carnival.

Musical accompaniment was provided by Cetrick on bass guitar, Eddison on keyboards, Adarsh on drums and N E Diniz on lead guitar.

Wilmix's jokes and skits by Hortencio and team (with Netto and Veronica) gave a different dimension to the comic interludes presented on Mangalore stage. The man who drew special applause was Francis Vaz, who plays harmonica (mouth organ) and bongo drums at a time. He did not fail to impress the Mangalorean audience by playing the hits like 'Juliana', 'Cathrina' and 'Ami dogui sezara vetanv kazarak'.

Melita Pinto, who had won the Boutique de Creations Miss Daijiworld Award in January 2006, was felicitated by Mandd Sobhann with its president Louis Pinto presenting a bouquet to Melita.
