Mangalore, Apr 26: With the best of music and touching numbers from the young enthusiast musician and lyricist Elyer Taccode, two shows are planned to offer a music treat to all.

At  ‘Ek Sanz Mitrachi’, Elyer’s foot tapping numbers from his three albums ‘Sapna’, ‘Chandnem,’ ‘Jaado’ will thrill music lovers on April 29 at 6 pm at Attur Souharda Auditorium and on April 30 at 6.30 pm at the premises of Alangar Church, Moodbidri.

The event has more in it. A fundraiser for Mitr, the popular Konkani weekly, the two musical nites will include Elyer’s new songs.

Editor of Mitr, Eleyar’s vivid lyrics and mesmerizing tunes have enchanted music lovers. The music for the shows is directed by Roshan D’Souza Angelore and the singers troupe comprises Dr Prashant Raj, Adolph Jayatilak, Murlidar Kamath, Prakash Mahadevan, Prakash D’Souza, Vijay Vas, Zeena Periera, Reshma D’Souza and Chrismita D’Costa.

To make everyone laugh to their hearts’ content will be the Wilfy Mascarenha’s team, while dances will be presented by Thunderguys, Bajpe.

An event to look forward to, Elyer’s music nites is organised by Sangathi Media.


Through his prolific writings, 26-year old Elyer has to his credit, Phlguniso Vhallo an anthology, Petnnolli, a collection of limericks and Ankor a compilation of editorials published in Mitr.


After making his debut performance at the Kalangan Nite in November 2005, Elyer is back with a double bang. Don’t miss it.
