Abu Dhabi, May 20: It was just a week ago that Lorna, the nightingale of Goa, made a tremendous impact on a full-house audience with her voice and music in a fun-filled event in Dubai.

Now, by popular demand, Lorna is set to appear again on a UAE stage, but this time in the capital city of Abu Dhabi.

Music-lovers from both Mangalore and Goa are now  eagerly waiting to see their favourite Lorna and hear her warble again.

"We have heard a lot about Lorna. I think this is the first time that she is performing in Abu Dhabi, as far as we know. We are thankful to KCO, a dynamic organization which has made this dream possible for us," a diehard fan of Lorna's said, while speaking to Daijiworld, when asked by the website for her opinion.

"We await Lorna to rock...It's also interesting to see, a young, marvellous singer - Rony D'Cunha- to sing with her." she said.

"This year's Mangalorean day will be a blend of Mangaloreans and Goans. it is nice to see music-lovers from both stretches of the the Konkan belt under one roof."

Apart from Lorna, Rony D'Cunha, and local talents like Angeline and Maxim Periera will also be part of the Mangalorean day troupe.

KCO organizes the cultural show once a year. Every year KCO tries to bring some innovation or other to the show.

West Breez, led by Robert Viegas, will lead the music. For Lorna her long-time and favourite associate Norman will provide the music.

There will be dances and spot prizes during the event. Well-known master of ceremonies Ronald Olivera will be compering the show.

Micahel D'Silva, president of KCO who is delighted about the response to the show is confident that invitations will be disposed of much before the show.
