Lucknow, Jun 2: Film actress and Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Bachchan and her filmstar husband Amitabh Bachchan own Rs 227 crore in movable and immovable properties.

According to an affidavit that Jaya filed along with the nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha by-elections from the state, Amitabh owns properties worth Rs 190 crore and Jaya had Rs 37 crore in movable and immovable properties.
Jaya owned two cars and her husband 11, including some of foreign make like Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes Benz and BMW.

The affidavit also stated she had Rs 11.41 lac in her bank account and that there was Rs 3.27 lakh in Amitabh's bank account.

She had an investment of Rs 3.09 crore in shares and Rs 3.67 crore in jewelery while her husband had invested Rs 134 crore and owned jewelery worth Rs 2.91 crore.

Jaya owns 364 kg of silverware and diamonds and pearls worth Rs 3.22 crore besides owning a plot in Noida Film City, a flat in Bhopal and Mumbai and a house in Mumbai.

As per the affidavit, Amitabh has been shown to be the owner of agricultural land in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district, a house worth Rs 4.5 crore and a plot of Rs 12 crore in Mumbai, a Rs 35 lac flat in Gurgaon and immovable properties worth Rs 67 lac in Delhi.
