Singapore, Sep 6: Olympic silver medallist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore added another chapter in his glorious career when he won the gold medal in his favourite double trap event at the Asian Clay Shooting Championships in Singapore on Wednesday.

Rathore, who totalled 190 in the competition, also led Ronjan Sodhi and Vikram Bhatnaga to get India the top position in the team event.

The silver in the individual event went to Saif Alshamsy of the United Arab Emirates who aggregated 186 points. Sodhi (185) missed out on the bronze medal when he lost out to Rashid al-Athba of Qatar in a shoot-off.

Bhatnaga (136) did not make the final and finished 10th. Another Indian in the fray, Vikram Chopra (132) ended 15th.

In the team event, India totalled 416 points to claim the yellow metal ahead of Chinese Taipei (409) and UAE (406).
