Mangalore, Oct 8: Bishop Fr Aloysius Paul D'Souza on Sunday has urged all people to work to restore peace and harmony. The Bishop has also sent a circular to every parish asking them to hold special prayers for peace in Mangalore. Further he has called all the parish organization to form peace committees thus contribute to ensure that peace is restored.  

"Peace must prevail," he said adding that the leaders of various communities should take lead and not mislead. 

"We are all members of one family and thus are related to one another. Though we may follow different religions we have only one God whom we address in different names," said the Bishop.  

"We need to respect and love one another as love leads to peace." The Bishop added.
