My son's account hacked, says terror suspect's father

Kolkata, Dec 13 (IANS): Alleged pro-Islamic State (IS) sympathiser and publicist Mehdi Masroor Biswas, arrested in Bengaluru, has reportedly admitted to the charges but his father Saturday refused to believe that his son has any links with the terror group and claimed his account was hacked.

The terror suspect's father said he had no knowledge about his son's arrest as his phone was switched off. "But now, we have decided to go there."

A resident at Koikhali in the north eastern fringes of the city, N. Masroor Biswas said police or intelligence agencies have not got in touch with him so far.

Biswas, who was employed with the state electricity board, said he doesn't believe the allegation that his son has any links with IS, one of the world's most dangerous terrorist groups.

"One reporter asked me about it last night (Friday night). Then I contacted him and inquired.

"My son said he did not understand how it has happened. He said his internet account is hacked. I don't believe that my son has any link with IS," he said.

"My son is busy with his office duty from 8.45 in the morning till night," he added.

Mehdi Masroor Biswas has been working in Bengaluru, Karnataka with an annual package of Rs.5.38 lakh.

Don't judge on the initial reports let our able officers/Honorable courts to conclude the investigations, we have seen so many so called masterminds came out clean and its evident that after CIA torture report is out in the US senate report, I don't think anybody can dare to reject the forced confessions by the investigation agencies, the same methods mentioned in the senate report are being used in India

Once the police have sufficient evidence to identify your son as a terror suspect then be certain your son will be stripped and skinned from head to toe and he will be turned inside out in search of evidence and the truth.
If he does not care for the lives of innocents he has no right to anything.

    Sachidanand,
Police should not cross certain boundaries when using force to interrogate but at the same time show no leniency.

We have seen that a softer approach seldom works when dealing with hardened, extremist, radicalized criminals/terrorists.
It has been reported that these persons even receive training on how to withstand coercive interrogation/torture by police.

Accused himself has confessed. Then how this father is telling that his son is innocent?

This has been the drama of the parents of the Accused people in most of the cases. The blind love of the parents always make them to claim that their children are innocent even though they know fully well that their son/daughter is the real culprit. This psychological game is repeated since the time of Dritharashtra of MahaBharatha.

LOL ...Dear sir, We have the brains in the right place. Have you read the leading dailies? This is what it says ''The Sunni jihadi organization Islamic State (ISIS) has justified the enslavement of non-Muslim women and children and sexual intercourse with them, not sparing even pre-pubescent girls.
'. This is what your son has been supporting. This is the faction that your son has been supporting. Say Thanks to God that you are in India, in a peace loving nation.

Arif Majeed,ISIS Indian recruit, who returned from Iraq parents too denied that their son was initially innocent.Parents are equally responsible for the actions of their children. They are the first persons to know that their sons have gone astray, yet knowingly, deliberately they refuse to inform the police/intelligence agencies regarding their wayward sons.Do they have any remorse for the victims & families of the 29 Indians citizens taken hostage & thousands of innocent humans slaughtered, raped by ISIS & other Jihadi outfits.Only our HEAVENLY CREATOR can protect them & bring back safely to their families & country.
