Dubai: Carnival De Goa - A Sellout Show

Dubai, Feb 13: Carnival De Goa has turned out to be a total sellout show! The organizers of this gala dinner dance scheduled on February 15, 2007 at the Astoria Hotel Bur Dubai are overwhelmed with the tremendous response they have received.

The event has been organized by the United Friends of Goa and tickets to the show have been sold out well in advance.

Purple Rain

It is the second time during the year that 'Purple Rain', the much-admired Goan band has arrived in Dubai and has promised a complete entertaining event at Asotria.

"Your spirit will always be up when you hear that show is a total sellout. We are just looking forward to rock," said the band leader to daijiworld.

Remidios, one of the organizers said that the carnival is a traditional celebration for Goans and in Dubai every year it has been celebrated with pomp. "We are sure that 'Purple Rain' will bring rain of entertainment," he added.

On Feb 15, the mega event will start at 9 pm and the organizers have requested those with entry tickets to the venue to make it to the show well before time.
